qud cell modification
well, I have ordered 3 NiCD cells from QFM and I am soon going to purchase a $15 bit clone to do my quad cell mod on. The only problem I think I am going to have is mounting four batteries! I was thinking of doing something like this in this picture, but then I thought how would I get the body off with the batteries like that? (sorry for the blurry pics)

and then I thought to mount them on top of the PCB board cover like this and make a hole in the roof of the car to accomodate te cells, but then it would be difficult to gain acces to the PCB. Anyone have any suggestions? (again, sorry for the blurry pictures)

Nice. I suggest putting one of those bats in the chassis and the other behind on a weelie bar (I think QFM has it in their mods section) That way you could still fit most of your bodies on there. I don't think that cutting the roof or putting the batts on top of the roof will look so good.

If you put the NiCD bats on the roof you can put some kind of "JUMPER" like a HD Jumper, så you can unplug it anytime, and it will be easy to take off the chassi.
