Where to get dnano cars and parts
I'm wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of a good on-line source for dnano's and parts. I dont have a LHS very close so I'm thinking of setting up my own track in my spare bedroom. I've found a good source for the track an a simple track counting setup buy looking through this forum. And I have seen many cars and parts on ebay, but it seems that all those sellers are overseas and the shipping is a killer. I'd like to find a Lamborghini LP500S and some hop-ups, thanks for any info in advance.

*woot woot* ... you don't see links to nanotrax when you search for *dnano shop* in google? weird.... shipping isn't all that expensive if you're willing to wait. the cost difference between 3-5 days and 7-10 days is HUGE. contact me directly to work somethin out bro. sales@nanotrax.net

if you in the cont. u.s., you will have to call a hobby town usa to order over the phone or email. there are many threads from various shops already here. there are warranty issues to take into consideration when buying the chassis kit. make sure kyosho in your region will warranty the item fro where you intend to purchase it.
nanotrax probably has the most impressive collection of stock, option and aftermarket parts in any one place. they can do this because they are not bound by the same exclusivity contract that continental u.s. market is.
rckenon carries pn racing option parts (official shop linked to pn racing).
egrmart carries rc atomic option parts (official shop linked to rc atomic).
reflex racing may carry pn racing and atomic option parts.
shop.tinyrc.com (above) carries pn racing option parts and shortly to get rc atomic.

Thats a great looking facility you have there NanoTrax, I looked around your site and if I cannot find what I need here you look like the best place I've seen on the net.
Arch2b; so does the HT franchise have some sort of exclusive on dnano's? That seems a bit unusual, plus there is'nt a HT close to my location, I was hoping to find these without paying the outside the US shipping . Is there anyplace that you know of besides ebay where thses can be bought used in the US? Or are thses just not popular enough for a secondary market.

yes, hobby town usa has an exclusive deal with kyosho for domestic sales of the dnano, timing system, track, etc. there are a couple lengthy threads on the topic already here. this is why you will not see kyosho dnano products for sale in other shops. i believe the only one to do so has since stopped without notice and has since disappeared and liquidated their inventory on ebay.
there are many hobby towns that will sell over the phone and or email. you can find several of them, their contact info, etc. within here as well.
just keep in mind that should you have trouble with an expensive, very tiny rc car, you must weight your warranty concerns with your purchase choices. if your confident in making your own repairs it may not matter to you at all and you have plenty of options to choose from. if your not, well make sure you buy the chassis kit portion from an authorized reseller as kyosho will ask for a copy of the receipt for any repair work. if you have any questions regarding their warranty i suggest you contact them prior to your purchase. there is nothing worse than getting the answer you don't want, after you've made your purchase. this, in my opinion, only pertains to the chassis kit portion as it contains the electronics. you could extend this to the battery, charger, gyro and transmitter but i don't think anyone is going to have a warranty claim on parts and upgrades.

Arch makes a valid and very important point about the warranty issues. I would extend his statement reference warranty repairs to the KT18 controller as well. I have had dNaNo defective equipment issues on 2 occasions. Once early on with a chassis and kyosho USA immediately sent out a new diff, and more recently with a new KT18 that would not pair to any vehicles. After sending the KT18 back to Kyosho USA with the required return form, they immediately replaced it with a new one. Both circumstances required the receipt of purchase. I have ordered all of mine over the phone from different Hobby Town’s and I have found them all to be eager and helpful in making the phone sales. With such an expensive investment it is nice to have the peace of mind that your equipment will be fully supported should there be any issues.

thanks for the kind words.... i'll personally check anything you order for functionality before it leaves my shop cuz i'd hate for you to get something that has a problem before opening the box (the customer i referred to had that happen which brought about the policy change). Perfex KT-18 is a buggy transmitter... i use my Sanwa M11 and if you have it or a Futaba 3PK, don't waste your time with the KT-18. get the 2.4GhZ adapter for Mini-Z and the module adapter for M11/3PK and you can rest easy knowing your transmitter isn't going to freak out on you (i've had to return 6 of them for replacements).
i'm a salesman but i'm a human and an r/c lover first. i don't insist on people buying things nor would i be happy if i sold something that a customer wasn't satisfied with. i don't know what people's thoughts are about what i do but i put 110% into it not for sales, but because i love it and i hope to share that passion and get others excited about this new scale.
