Chrome Dnano Autoscales
Mini-Z World is a very good site to add to your routine for checking up one all things mini-z and dnano's get some notice here as well.
take these chromed dnano autoscales for example. chrome red, black of silver and i'm all over it. i don't care so much for the blue or gold.

I'm kind of digging that blue Audi R8 though! Seems to suit the car well! Nice find, I wonder how much these cost. I wonder if their in production, or custom job's?

i have no idea. we would have to have one of our latin members dig around or contact the site to see if they were on off customs ( i suspect they are) or custom order products.
with the core tag at the very bottom of the car, it may not affect it as much as when the tag is placed above the chassis. assuming the entire body is coated, like the mini-z equivalent, than i doubt the tag would read well.

i don't think these are production line ASC bodies... they're custom made and occasionally sold in the Kyosho shops in Japan. just like the anniversary edition gold Murcielego/F40 that came out earlier this year (i'm just guessing). the bodies will have no effect on the IC Tag or the lap counter's reception (this i'm sure about ;-)).

Wasn't it a gold Countach and F-40?
I know of a business here in the USA that specializes in chroming/gold-plating plastic model car parts and he said he could do these bodies. I think it was around 30-50 bucks for the job, more for the gold.
I've often wondered what the Murcielago would look like in chrome along with a few chassis bit's.
