diy underglow

how would i go about doing this? I want to run these off a 9V with a switch.... i need about 8 LEDs

all you would need is a little bit of wire and the tube from a spray bottle. trim the tube to the length you want then stick 2 leds in the ends repeat as needed. then wire them all together.

i'd use button cell batteries instead of a 9V. the 9V would be big and heavy. a few button cells would be lighter with the same amont of power.

Do all i do is get a battery connector with + and - and connect the straight to the leds? no resistors?

better looking way

If you have a dremel or really small drill, you can take acrilic rods (availible at hobbly shows or online) and drill out the ends of them and put the LED's inside the ends and they will light up the whole tube, it will look like real neon

thats a good idea. i might have to try that. but its basicly the same as taking the little tube from a spray bottle.
