Differential Difference
What is the difference between the red and the white diffs on the cars? Is one better than the other? I know the red one comes with the AWD kit, but I read somewhere that the white is not limited slip or something and is preferred on the rear...
Can someone clear this up for me? Thanks.

one of the red ones is a regular gear diff. the other is a ball differential. not a limited slip differential, if you dont know which is which just put one of the cup joints in each end and if they turn together you found the ball differential, if they spin opposite directions that is the gear diff. the red gear diff and the white diffs are the same exact thing except for color of course.

the ball diff is great if you have a car with no high power motors.
