help neurokinetik
i just got my xmod yesterday how do i take the actual motor out of the housing if you could help that would be great. just got the blu civic

Well I know I'm not neurokinetik but I think I can help. Frist you have to solder the black cylinder and the brown disk form the motor itself (not from the endbell or brushes) . Then you take like a small needle nose pliers and bend up those two little metal holder like things from the side of the endbells. Then you just pull the endbell from the motor. I hope this helps.

Well, in his pictures he didn't really take the amature from the motor case. Heres the link to the mod: http://www.tinyrc.com/forums/showthr...threadid=15954
I thought you wanted to rewind the motor or somthing like that, but in this case you don't have to desolder anything. Just follow his instructions.
