that or 1:25 should work. not all of them work, though, you may have to change the wheelbas on the body. i dont think there are many 1:28 scale modles.

Yea, you should shorten the body by a bit.

some 1/24's fit...you just have to fid the right one!
Some 1/24th's fit....for example the fujimi crx model fits perfect on the skyline chasis because the crx is "in real life" a smaller car than the skyline, so when you reduce the size of a bigger car by more than what you reduce the size of a smaller car they end up near the same size....that is why the skyline body is longer than the rsx because the skyline was a bigger car in real life to start with so when they reduced the size to 1/28th the larger car remains slightly larger. My advice is to go to a hobby store and ask them to open the boxes to see how close the body will come, oh and lenghten your chasis as well. Its easy find the screws and figure it out. I got my xmod like a week ago and have only used it like 4 times but i am hooked and most of the things people are doing to make it faster and using different bodies is mostly commen sense. hope this helps......oh and the reason SKYLINEEVO's supra body of a 1/24 scale model wont fit is because the supra that is an xmod is to 1/28th scale so obviously it is going to be bigger because it is the same car but not reduced in size as much. So aim for smaller cars if you can not modify the bodies very well.
