It is a micro rs4, and also a very old video.. Cant recall the guys name but his whole "thing" was making rs4's go insanely fast. I believe he was selling custome moded motors at one point.

This is the first time I have seen that video, so I don't know much about it. It would be nice to be able to do this to our Xmods though.

That's too small to be a Micro RS4. I'd belive it was a mini-z or mini-x tho. In the ID tags on the video it says "1/24th Scale".

I have seen this before and it is supposed to be an ABC DTM-X4 - Extremely Modified. Yes, 1/24th.

i had a drr which is a abd bi-product .and they were going for 54.99 when they were discontinued. They were real nice and i had mine in the high 30's with a coreless motor. but these x-mods offer suttin a lil different. the ability to have real parts.Like the shocks are real shocks not just springs. Its the lil things that make these xmods not to bad.

sorry, but the xmod's shocks are not real functioning shocks, it's merely a guide for the spring. it would be a functional shock if the hole that the metal rod goes into on the "shock" was tight and used friction as a way to dampen it or if some viscous liquid was smeared on said rod then that would also dampen it but right now, it's just a guide for the spring so it woudl compress correctly
