Steering Nightmare Solved

Okay, I am not very good at explaining things in writing so bear with me.

I have noticed with the faster motors and any wheel setup if you are driving on any hard flat surface the car will just sorta spin like a pencil has been shoved through the front end and it is rotating around that point, until you let off the throttle and start again.

To fix this you need to do a few things.. first get the rare earth magnet(TheBIG difference this should make is that you can now turn your wheels while not moving)

Next bend your steering spring in more so the 2 ends that go around the trim post more(be sure to center your trim post first so you have maximum adjustment later).

now the most important step (This alone could fix most steering problems) Take the suspension bar and flip it upside down. Check your car to make sure it still turns, if you have too stiff of a bar this can make it stop turning all together by cutting a small relief cut on either half of the bar can fix that. or just bend it between your fingers a few times.

That should be it. Now you should have a car that can turn in tiny tiny circles at low speeds and at high speed you should be making about 3' circles. Now my car drives like a real car would at high speed. If I drive staight then turn suddenly the car drifts around in a smooth and controllable way and you can actually hear the back end skipping along.. IT IS SO AWESOME..

sorry for my longwinded thread. I am not good at conciseness.

i have a tri cell zip and it turns in 1' circles at full speed run either slicks or all season tires in front and stock tires in the back. if you have multiple cells the earth magnet mod doesnt do much.
