Congrats! Welcome to the Bit/MicroSizer owners gang and welcome to the Forum as well.
Since your post is specifically about the pictures...I'm moving this thread to the 'Bit Gallery' area.

hmmm..The bodies look almost translucent in that light...is that a micro-sizers specific thing? i have never seen a Bit Char-g do that. It looks kinda cool...

hmmmm.......I thought one of the few differences between the Bits and the Microsizers was that the Microsizers had black painted windows, yet yours are clear. Did they change this in the final design?
Tiny, do the Microsizers you have in stock have clear or black windows. Just curious.

That's a really good point! They all have clear windows. However, on the boxes, the pictures have black windows! But the cars and the body kits all have clear windows.

what i meant was that if you look at the blue paint, you can see the car chassis through it. The bit char-g cars always had solid paint as far as i can remember.

The blue one is translucent but the red one is solid.
I just got some paint and carbon fiber decals. I plan on doing some modifying.

racing in INDY
It's nice to see that someone else on this board is from Indy. There has to be other people here in town that own Micros because the HobbyTown USA in Castleton keeps selling out thier stock. Not to mention that you have to call around town to find a RadioShack that has zips.
Do you know of any place in town to race these things. I have a few Micros and a few Zips and I would love to see what they can do.

I bought mine at the Castleton HobbyTown a couple of weeks ago. They had quit a few then. Do you know if they have the upgrade kits in stock? Have you hit any other hobby stores? Toy's R Us has them but they wanted $30 Nothing at Wal-mart Noblesville or Fishers. I've not tried Meijer yet.
A friend at work bought a Zip but has not moded it yet so I still kick his butt! And I'm trying to get some more people I work with to buy one or the other so we can race. The guys at the Radio Shack on N. Mich. Rd. liked my Micro better once they saw it and took it for a test drive! I'm trying to get them to help me out with a light kit for my WRX.
Sorry but I don't know of any place to race just yet.

Micros in INDY
It seems like HobbyTown gets in a big shipment and through the course of a couple of weeks they sell them. Then the shelf is empty for a while. I was up there last Thursday and they had some upgrade kits. You might want to call them first.
Another place in town that carries them is Big Boy Hobbies. I have not been there but I talked to the owner on the phone. He said that they carry the cars and upgrade kits.
I was browsing through the Meijer toy department and they had a few Micros but no upgrades. I was at the one in Carmel at the intersection of 131st Street (Carmel Drive) and US-31 (Meridian).
If you find a place to race let me know. Or if you get a group together and need someone else let me know. I am tired of racing myself.
