TYCO Canned Heat help!

Hey guys,

Just visited the tinracers.com website - great site!

But can someone tell me whether or not I really need to purchase the motor modification kit to get the replacement motors to run?

Here is a pic of my stock Audi TT



Can't I just resolder the blue and brown contact points (along with that brown thing in the middle) where the new motor would sit in place of the stock one?

Or is there something I'm missing here?

to make the new motors operate right you must buy the mod kit!
