My black mustang can run the bit 3.0 and 3.8 but they don't act like themselves. The 3.0 was slow and the 3.8 took forever to get some speed going. I think it maybe a contact problem. I'll check them out better tomorrow night.

what about perhaps the 2.6 DKS motor? if that could run in one of the new zip zap PCB's, i might just have to get me a few new zips

The 2.6zz from dks runs like a champ in stock zips. It's one of my favorite motors.

i have one of the newer pcb's and i looked at em. theres some kinda new jumper with a brown thing on it thats not on the old ones. and id say its like 25% better (faster, stronger) than the old ones i got.
i left my new zz chassis stock. all my old ones have panther pcbs in em.

this sucks after all the trouble i've gone through they go and fix the darn things. now i'm gonna be out another $20 because i have to have one.CRAP!

I just opened my black Mustang and it is the new curcuit board  . With the red motor and gears it is definately quicker than my yellow(still kinda messed up)Mustang ever was with the same settup. My yellow Mustang with the reverse mod would probably give it a run but the black one would still have reverse. All in all, I am impressed.
