hey arrive2defy does a booster set really go all that fast? I heard that it doesnt go as fast as a regular bit until you push the button. Is this true?

ok nm.. my run time is fine...

uh.. regular is slow.. BUT... you can hussle people.. hahaha... just be like "oh sh!t hit the NOS son!" when you hit turbo its fast... but there is also a mod where its always on.. doesnt really matter.. i guess..

personally i like the booster better because... its faster... also you can make your friends look stupid after they talk trash about how slow your car is (non turbo mod)

I really don't know if its either 27 or 35, because the box says its 27, but its in the spot where the 35 mhz sign should be. Plus, there are two 27mhz's on my box.........

On the clear plastic covering the PCB board, does it say 27mhz? I'm pretty sure it's 27 mhz if it's the Initial D set.

Can we just change the transmitter xtal and adjust the pot in the car, and create 'custom' frequencies, or is the receiver xtal embedded into the car pcb?

27 and 49?

I don't think it's true that US limits it to 27 and 49mhz only for RC since all the other RC sizes (1/10 and others) have a whole range of frequencies.

I have 75, 72, 48, and others I don't remember.

It is interesting that it's limited on these RTR radio controlled vehicles though.

I dont know if this has been mentioned yet, but has anyone tried to see if the N/A and Japanese 27mhZ channels differ? I only ask this because a while ago I remember seing on a MicroSizer page that it was something like 27.045 mhz, maybe the Japanese 27 is different? I dont know. Thx to anyone who knows

confirmation, on the micro sizer manual here on page 4, near the bottom it says-
Carrier Frequency 27.145 MHz Carrier Frequency 49.860 MHz. Seems to be narrow band?

Here's something interesting....

I have a 2 speed boost Bit Char-G and my GF has a regular..,they are both 27Mhz according to the boxes, but we race with each other just fine! I was all bummed out cause I forgot to look at her box before I got mine, but it turned out it doesn't even matter?????

Strange, but no complaints here :-)
