why are most new bodies so high?

i was wondering if anybody knew why most of the new bodies are so high? from the side view you can see the chassis which looks weird and ugly.

the older bodies werent like this, so why are they like this now?

I think it's because they are trying to build them more to scale so it shortens the height of the body some. Could be wrong...

I agree. I was looking at my Skyline thinking that it looked kinda funny because it looked like they were trying to make it seem longer, and even with it slammed, there is still alot of the chassis showing.

Dont they use pullbacks or something for those shots? They might be different.

i dunno about photochopping but i got a pull back and it looks like that on the chassis of the bit.

and another thing i hate is that the roof of the skyline pull back is too slow so it cant be lowered much.

about the pull back chassis, yup they are low and they look good only on the pull back chassis without having to use putty etc.
