Ok, nevermind, false alarm, and I spoke too soon.... And, it wasn't a resistor, it was a transistor... It was late.
I found the problem, the battery was backwards.

Ok, this can't be good... It started on fire... AGAIN, and now it won't work for good! I think I might go out and buy another one, but my moms all like..... No, just because you broke it doesn't mean you have to go out and buy a new one, besides, it's a toy.
Any help on what I should do? Replace it? Does it even need to be there?

It doesn't have a number, instead, it has a letter. It has the letter 'A' on it.

That is my www.brickshelf.com file, and it also has a few pics of my car as a work in progress. It is done now though.

Lol, yea I know! It burnt a hole in the side, and during the removal process, one of the leads fell off...

Oh yes, forgot to add.... Where would I be able to find one? I realy need one, because I am temporarily using a chip from another car that ACTUALLY WORKS. Lol, can you imagine? Something that I took apart still actually works!
I have one, but it is smaller, and wasn't seeming to work when I hooked it up. I went to the Radioshack store at the mall earlier this week, and they didn't have any! It really sucked, and it pissed me off.....
