Make a 2.2 run like a 2.6

Want to make your completely stock MS run like a 2.6 even though it comes with a 2.2? Just change the pinion gear into the K.I.T. Racer 7 tooth one. I did the math and the 2.2 is just 33 rpms lower than a 2.6. That's like nothing. It's easy and doesn't cost as much as buying a 10 dollar 2.6.

I tried this on my shen.
I'm currently running the ZZ NOS motor 2.35 and the MS 8.25:1 gearset, and the 7 tooth pinion seem to get a tiny bit more speed out of it.
I was very suprised when I was just able to pop the motor in and run with no adjustments!
This doesn't work at all on my Cyclona though.
