Dual Cells rock on z-cars

This mod rocks like hell on a z-car

its like a rocket, except i can SORT_OF control it.

those of you whose have dual celled z-cars...If ya want longer runtimes cut of the light-wires right where its soldered to the LED.
You can always resolder it right back on! its easy!

Ryan McDonald!!! you have to do this mod...my car will kick your ass with it!

keep racin u guys

what kind of cells did you use? I'm thinking about doing the 'laymans' 2 cell mod that uses the 2 button cells. I tried upgrading to the 1.2v 150mah but found I just got longer runs at slower speeds.

im not sure about the button cells

i used two atomik z-car cells you know the ones that come in the booster with decals and a keychain? i used my stock and another ecept i have EVEN ANOTHER batt.

as above have you tried cutting off the LED right where the wires meet the led!

it does work.

you should make sure that you have button-to-button

never use button cells and normal cells
check on the packaging what voltage and ampage there is on them

but i have a question for you i dont think they are rechargable are they?

i know that mod

but is still dont understand- why do that when a regular dual cell like mine is fine

BTW i have a few controllers some modded and some not(they work just the same not modding them, u just have 2 charge 2 times in a row.
I also have a seperate charging station i made.
its really your choice if you want to mod the controller

keep racin
