dual battery

I cant keep a charge in my dual battery set up it will go for 30 secondsand thatsd it I have a charger made 2 batteries taped 2gether and a charger stand off an old controler . should I try three or am I just screwed

mine is doing the same thing, I am going to try charging with a 4aa setup as soon as RS opens up so I can get one. I am told that this is my problem.

you need to go to Radio Shack and get product #270-409 ........ its a 4AA Battery Holder and costs $1.94(tax included)........ looks like a black square box with 2 wires coming out of it, thats all it is........ you wire your charge station to it(takes 10 seconds TOPS!) ........ put 4 AA batteries in it, hook your car up, turn the switch on on the charger, wait 90 secs(this is how i long i do it for) and VIOLA you are done and ready to go!

would there be any way to use the double charge timer cap and the 4AAA stand alone charger so u get 90 seconds each time and it wont overcharge? maybe incorrperate the timer light as well. BTW even tho i did th emod to my controller my timer light still works on normal bits
