need advice from SP guru's
how does the ABC electronic package hold up in the DTM SP? I'm considering really hard on getting one, and I have tennis courts around the corner so I could maybe form a little club for 1/24 scalers. what will it take to get a DTM SP running, with the ABC electronic package+car, it'll cost about $150 without the tx. how much do descent transmitters run now-a-days? I have a DRR and the tx is absolutly hideous! although functional, I wouldn't be caught dead with it! the replies are really appreciated.

If you just unhappy with the looks of the radio, all you have to do is get a new radio. You don't have to get all new electronics. If you really want to save money you could get a new Airtronics Blazer Sport for less than $50. Get the AM 27 mzh and you wont even need a new receiver. It's no where near the top of the line radios, but good enough for the DRR.

thanks for the reply. The electronics that I was refering to was for the ABC DTM SP and not the DRR. I could just switch the cystals and it would, of course work. It was mostly my fault since I didn't make a clear transition. thanks for the prices man.

I would caution against the ABC electronics. I did not have any luck with it.
