Booster Chassis - Grinding noise
Is it just me or does the booster chassis that the Auto Modellista set come with make a WEIRD grinding noise? It seems to subside when I hit the boost button but it's very annoying and the range seems to suck as well. It's also not as fast in the regular speed, but way faster in boost mode. Someone run through the science of that for me?

thats the automodellista set for ya. I have this set. and te grinding noise is only in first gear because the motor is restricted to move slower resulting in the annoying sound. The freq is 27 mhz so that is why the distance is really bad. I dont exactally understand the concept of boost. All i know is that it adds rpms to the motor. The range on auto modellista is so bad that u neevr get to experience the boosts full potentialbecause it stutters after 2 feet.

Thanks Temjin, I think I am just going to get a microsizer or another BCG and keep the AutoModellista bodies. They are really cool.

Hi,
I have the same type of noise on my Nissan Fairlady (with dual speed). In lower speed, the car gets very noisy...
