Son of a Bit!
The word clone is thrown around here a lot. This, I assume means that the Bit Char-g is the Father of them all. Were Bit's really the first one out, or did they run from someone elses design and just make it better?
Pong started the home arcade craze and then Atari made it better. Are Bit's the Atari of mini rc's or the Pong?

bit char-g was THE first in the micro RC in the scene, all the clones (zipzaps, bullets, lxx) all came much later, when the hobby started to gain american's appeal more...jumped on for the ride, and the $$$

Actually, weren't Bit Char-Gs Tomica's response to Takara's highly successful DigiQ cars?
I know that DigiQ cars run on IR, and not radio, but is that not how it went?
