throttle problems

just got my X, and i was runnin it, and at full throttle, it cuts out. i was usin one of my PERFEX transmitters, and a switched to a futaba Tx, which seemed to help, but it still does it every now and then. its almost like the ESC shuts down as an overheat precaution, but it did this within 25 seconds of turning the thing on. its pretty much solved in my case, but i'd still like to know what the deal is.

You have to first set up the ESC and then after that fine tune the throttle trim on the controller.

More than likely it is caused by noise from the motor. You could try to add some capacitors. Does the sterring servo glitch if you hold the car in your hand at full throttle?

binary terror, i did set the ESC up, and irc, the motor does have caps on it. remember, the new Tx solved the problem. im wondering if there is a problem with the Tx or something. russ said he had the same problem (also with a perfex), and switched to another Tx, problem solved.
