has anyone removed the reverse function?

hey there, my previous thread dealt with a two speed bit without the booster kit. I had it all done up one day and it worked for a while then i put it away,( that's right mike) then when i put it out today it didn't work. i always needed me to 'kick start it', by which i mean to push it a bit then the starter motor (1.0) would work then the faster motor (3.0) would kick in after i pressed the rewired reverse button.

I checked the voltage and it all checks out at 1.3 volts. But it seems like there isn't enough voltage to get it rolling?

does anyone have any ideas how i could stop the motor going in reverse when i push reverse but at the same time make the motor turn forwardS???

has anyone done any work with semiconductors. I need to zap teh reverse function for my two motor, twospeed bit to work?
I found some at ratshack, i hop ethey work.
