Zipzap Sick?

Well I got my ZZ today. Stuck the turbo motr in and charged it up. Pretty quick. As quick as my Microsizer with the turbo. But my charge only lasted 30 seconds!?

WTF?

Now heres some scarry stuff....Stuck the ZZ nos motor in my little Microsizer and it flew! The charge lasted 17 minutes!

Whats wrong with my ZZ?

OK shaggy low bats in charge makes sence. I took them out of a tv remote thats been sitting for um.....3 years

I'll try new bats tomorrow. Also Shaggy or anyone else, how long do you leave them on the charger? I put them on when the lights red, I take them off when its green??

Also where is zz chat?

Also

Also...Brand new batteries need to be "broken in" by cycling them 4-5 times before they reach full capacity.

hey i just got my nitro and it did the same thing, only ran for about 30 seconds. I charged it again and it ran for more like 3-4 minutes. so i don't know what that is about but give it more than one try.

It wasn't the nitro motor. Thats in my Sizer. I tried stock motor, performance motor and turbo motor.....they all ran about 30 seconds then I had to re-charge

It was the batteries. I put a fresh set in my controller and my zip goes for 5+ minutes a flying. I set the zip and sizer down beside each other and drag raced them......sizer blew it away with the zip nos motor. Zip caught up at the end with its turbo motor but didn't win.

I untied the knot in my zip antenna.....got a few more feet. I'm at 18' now, which is fine with me.
