First off, CONGRATS on having a g/f that'll "play" with you!

My Wife's got ZERO interest in my R/C hobbies.
First off, let's get the fundamentals out of the way...The Micro-T electronics are set to
DISABLE immediate direction reversal. Which means if you're going forward and immediately jerk your finger on the control to go in reverse...It will
NOT immediately respond, but rather come to a quick stop, then all of a sudden go in reverse. This is expected, it's a safety mechanism against over wear-n-tear on the gears.
...But if you're already aware that the Micro-T does that and the reverse issue is something above and beyond that, then here's some suggestions:
- Play with the slipper a bit. Tightening and loosening it, see if that helps at all
- Take the whole tranny apart and grease/lube the gears up just a tiny bit, then take care in making sure everything meshes properly on re-assembly.
- Hold the micro-t in the air by one of the rear wheels, then run it in reverse for a few minutes...Then do the same on the other side. This should break the gears in a bit
Good luck.
