4 cell booster bit-zap
I took my booster PCB out last night, and put it in a longer (Zip Zap) chassis along with 4 cells. It runs great, but I need to get a faster motor to check it with. Right now, all I have to run in it is a green Zip Zap motor. Still pretty darn fast!!!
I also installed shorter Bit front wheels and tires, and lowered the body in the front. Now it is set up like a Drag Car. I just need to get some rubber under there, and I'll be set.

P.S. I also did the "Alternate Booster Button Location" mod...
Check out the fwd/rev. button (the boost is the black dot on it)

Yeah, all nicd... I guess. I have a weird mix of cells here, but it's all I had. I think it would run better with all the same cells. I'm going to do that next. Actually it doesn't run as fast as my 3 cell Zap. I think the Zap PCB handles more current/voltage than the booster PCB.

Okay, as far as I can tell, the Zip Zap PCB is much better suited to 3 and 4 cell mods than Bit PCB's. I have tried to get my 4 cell booster Zap to run with my 3 cell Zap (Zap PCB), but I just can't. I tried a Layman 3 and 4 cell mod as well to reduce weight, but it has just been a disapointing venture. Bits are great for 2 cell, and not bad for a layman 3, but my Zap PCB is just smokin' compared to the Bit's in 3 or more cells. I wish I had a meter to compare. I also noticed that most clone PCB's are 'hotter' as well.
Food for thought.

Okay here's what I found out. The blue cells are nicd, the greens are nimh. Oops! I am just running the two nimh right now, and it's even faster than it was with the other 2 added. Still not as fast as my 3 cell, but I may add another nimh. The booster is awesome in a car this fast. I can take corners slower, but still stay on the gas.

I added another nimh cell to it, and whew... this thing is great. The booster PCB allows me to smoke the crap out of my 3 cell Drag car and still slow down for turns. My drag car does a 1/4 in 1.9 second and a Treadmill at 7.8 mph. This 3 cell "booster Zap" is even faster!

That booster button is a 8 on the wow factor!
Naked girls, ice cream and presents would be a 10.
Nice job!
