Rechargeable Batteries??
What type of batteries do you use for your xmod?, I definetly know im not going to get my hands on any li-ons..so I just stick to these Pure Energy Alkaline Rechargeables..They arent that bad. They give around 1 hour runtime which is enough for me, so lets hear what you guys use..

aside from li-ions, I use 1150mAh AAA's.... that's a claimed capacity, not sure if they actually could be.
I bought them on ebay.... they definitely last longer than the RS and energizer AAA's I have. They can also stand up to the 15 minute charger I have. THe cheap ni-mh that I got from walmart couldn't.... two of them popped in the 15min.
I'd order more, but you can only get them with a charger. I can't find the seller on ebay where I got them. Stay away from powerizer too... I have some AA's by them and they suck!

enegizer nimh rechaeargables 850mah. for now they satisfy my needs but i want a little more punch, i'll have to see what stage 2 is like (getting on friday, yay). even if you dont drive alot, i still think you should get some recargables, they are worth the preformance.

and the $$$ If you look on ebay, you can get ni-mh rechargeables for around $.80 per sometimes in groups of 12 or more. I've recharged mine probably 30 times and run them out. I have a ton of AAA's and it never seems like I have enough, or enough of them charged.
Those 30 times are 120 batteries that would have been in the garbage by now. Well, maybe not quite, I think some of those batteries you use might last longer than a charge on my AAA's, but you get the idea. My batteries would last longer too if i charged them slower.

i already have the stage 2 motors, i always use the drift motor, it kicks with power..and has alot of speed along with it, the other motors may be fast but might not have enough power for different kinds of terrain, and plus to me they kill the battery faster

I use durecell 900mah rechargables on my xmods that dont have lithium. IMO about the best you can get in nihm batteries.

Currently I'm just running with a bunch of regular ole 700maH AAA NiMH batts. They don't last all that long, but I've got a TON of them and 2 of the Lacrosse BC900 chargers
It's a fantastic charger, with 4 independent charge bays (so you can charge a AA in one bay, then a AAA in the next bay and so on, since each bay is its' own charger) and it's got lots of charging options AND a digital LCD display!
This passed Friday I just ordered a Duratrax ICE Charger. This charger will Charge Lithiums (Ion and Polymer) and has a ton of options.
So now I'm looking to switch from the 6cell upgrade I did (MAN, 6 AAA batts is HEAVY!) to 7.4v LiPo. If all goes as planned, I'll be able to use the same LiPos between my M18 and Xmods/Mini-Zs!
