i was wondering how long it takes to charge 4 li-pos or 2 li-ions with one of those auto chargers from atomicmods. they both have around 7 volts and 1000 mah (im not being exact) i was also planning on installing lithium on all my other rcs but i wanted to know if the charging time is quick like ni-mh, or close to it.
You can't charge lipos at the same current as ni-mh so they are a little slower.
Look around for a good charger. You can get an apache 2030 or similar charger for pretty cheap and it will charge all batteries.
Don't just go to a place specific for xmods, that allows them to jack the price a lot. Though they have nice stuff over at atomic, it's way to bloated in price.

hey just wondering but why would you need an FET upgrade for the lion if theyre 3.7 volts 2 would make 7.4 volts which is 1 under the 8.4 volt limit and 6 cells is 7.2 volts. could 0.2 volts make that much of a difference
