Now we're going!!! As I recall, I used two SE transfer gears because I couldn't get the right gear ratio with a single MT gear. Look at my charts on the site and see what ratios I believe to be possible, then modify to your own needs. Likewise, use the gear calculator if that seems helpful.
It is obvious to me that my tutorials just don't cover the whole subject. I'd recommend you get together all your gears (and some extra to play with), and with your imagination working overtime, see what kind of "fast" arrangements you might develop. And once you've decided on the gearing, then begin testing with the different motors.
