Use yer Zip to freak out yer friends!

Since Halloween is approaching, I thought I would share a little illusion I came up with using my ZipZap.

What you need is a plasitc 16 Oz ? SOLO drinking cup or similar and your mini rc car. The idea is to create an illusion of the cup moving across the floor by itself.

Place the car under the cup and punch a small hole in the top of the cup (actually, the bottom) and pull the antenna through just a little but not enough to be noticable. You can skip this step if you want, I'll explain later.

The setup: Have a pile of cups on the counter or something and offer a friend some soda. In the mean time, tell them a story about how you've been noticing stuff move around the house by themselves. Then, accidentally, drop a stack of empty cups onto the floor. You dropping the cups will stick in your friends head until later. Pick up all the cups except the one with the rc car under it. Hopefully yer friend is a lazy slob and wont help you pick up the last one, Make sure that the cup is upside down on the floor with the drinking part on the ground. Once you leave the room, use the contoller to drive the "cup" a few feet. You may have to place the controller behind a sofa cusion or something, or even yer pocket. Use your imagination and whatever works best for your situation. Your unsuspecting friend will most likely be freaked out since you cant hear the zipzap running, just the cup scraping againts the floor as it moves across the hall. When confronted, pickup the cup and place yer thumb onto the top of the cup, holding the antenna so the car doesnt slip out. Sneak the car into your pocket or something and show your friend the empty cup.

I guess you can do this trick with anything that is light enough for a zipzap to push A plastic cup turned upside down works really well and looks freakier than a muda!!!

and your victim should have no idea that you have tiny rc cars. This will not work if you try it on someone who has a Microsizer or who's over at yer house everyday playing with yer cars.

Enjoy and Happy Halloween!
