My f150 project

I'm pretty new to xmods so of coarse I'm looking for a little help. I have an f150 that has all upgrades that radioshack has to offer(drop kit, not lifted) and I have a nuke motor on the way. I was going to do the lith upgrade, super flex 18 wire, and v2.2 but I dont know if theres other parts needed to install this stuff. I read somewhere that the v2.2 doesnt need upgraded fets but like I said, I'm new to this. Any comments or suggestions?????

yeah, the V2.2 doesnt need stacked fets, it justs need one hella of a hot motor! THE V2.2 WILL ONLY work with fatboy armatures (inside of motor, just in case) and i suggest you get some alloy, bearings and carbon fiber for the chassis. o and some better tires than the radio shack one, they will burn out really bad and glue them at least.

and something else, you are going to need some MADD soldering skills, a lot of patience, and a lot of tools. in atomicmods.com they have a tutoria which explains how to install the v2.2 and lithium and what tools you need

I wouldn't say mad soldering skills. I think Fet modding a zz is much more difficult.

i didn't mean just soldering the fets, to install the v2.2 you have to rewire almost the whole ep. anyways he asked for opinions.

that i know of......no. but anyways you should check on the xmods ebay stores, they usually have billet in stock, you should check with atomicmods.com first though, they have the best stock. i dont think they will release the servo cadsing in alloy anytime soon because that is one of the parts that moves less and isnt that unprecise in plastic. most people want knuckles axle stubs dogbones arms brackets tie rods and shocks, but there are still some other parts. i emailed atomicmods and they said that they get a new batch of alloy parts for the evos both car and truck every month, but they dont know want gpm gives them, they said "its like christmas every month around here" so i suggest just waiting till it comes out, (which will not be too far out in the future since most truck parts are in stock, that i know of. im just waiting for the lift kit to come in alloy.
