Talking new player with Sherman and Russian T34/85

Hello,

Just got my tanks in the mail! a sherman and russian t34/85 with rotating turrets and controllers. Man are these things sweet!! holy cow i am going to make a battlefield for them one of these days.

Anyways, i have a slight problem with the russain and am not sure what to do. both tanks were brand new. The sherman works fine, the russian drains of power in like 5 mins.

Compared to the sherman, when charging its kinda difficult. Sometimes the "ok" light comes on in a minutes, sometimes it charges the whole ten minutes. Other time it begins to charge but stops and gives the " - - " when it should be " CH " on the controller. Its almost as if the tank isn't completely on and is touching and not touching the contacts. But i am positive it is snapped on. (just like when i do it to the sherman) Is there a way to clean the contacts properly?

And it doesn't seem to charge on my sherman controller even when i switch the roms, (not sure it that matters or not.)

Would this be a problem with the controller or tank? Might the chargable battery in the tank be messed up?

I mean when it is charged for the first 4 mins or so the tanks works beautifully but then it dies and only on tank tread works. So i am not thinking its the motor.

Its kinda a bummer because i got them off ebay, so i dont think i can return it to japan. But i might be willing to open the tank and putz with it if anyone has any ideas.

The sherman tears it up though, i played with it for at least a half hour and it still wasnt dead, so i know there is something wrong with the t34/85

for the time being this new Combat Digi player will have to holster his trigger finger!

Thanks for any help!
