Why do Bullets turn so bad???
I'm trying to figure out the reason why bullet clones turn so bad. IS it the way the coild are aligned, the current running through the coils, the cheapo battery, or the Coild themselves? I'm attemping to put the PCB of a Bullet clone into a real TOMY chassis (the TOMY PCB broke) and i really would like to have the same turning radius i had before. I'd like to resolder the small copper wires, but that seams to hard of a job. I'm not much of a great solderer so trying to solder those wires are out of the question. I just need to know how to improve the steering on the Bullet PCB's.
I notice that the COild where not aligned right (one was higher than the other) in the Bullet chassis, can this be why it turns so bad???

I think you hit the nail on the head. Some of the clone manufacturers don't have the quality control of Tomy. Of course Tomy could have some better quality control themselves. Since Bit Char-G's/Microsizers, and all the clones are produced in China by low wage labor, the quality will probably never improve.

Low or no wage labor. So maybe we copy them, using our high priced labor and excellent automated QC systems. Of course they would cost several hundred dollars apiece
