how to raise?
this may sound weird, since many of u want to do the opposite, but how can u raise an xmods ground clearance?
i race mine outside, where there are many bumps waiting to eat your front bumper, and the paint off the side skirts and rear bumper

hmm well if you want to jack up the back end of the body you can use a yellow bushing and a longer screw on the body mount clip. For actuall chassis ground clearance you can try dremelling some lego tires...i have heard of people doing this...you probably can't put the body on after this though.
My best suggestion is to go to a tennis court because i have broken a lot of parts(steering knuckles, cupjoints, front body clip, rims) on my rocky street. plus on a tennis court you can set up a track, drag race, practice turning, and not worry about cars

You can do that to the front clip too, but it also makes the front shocks stiffer as well. Think all it will do is lift the body up some.

also you could try to adapt some overland wheels to fit. the lift with the wheels will give you more than enough height.

i have a lot of questions about lithium since im a major newbie to the xmod aftermarket.
1. Where do u attach the micro plug on lithium quick kits?
2. can i trust this $10 quick kit? http://www.teammnm.net/liionquickinstallkitup.htm
3. what do u have to do to install a pro kit ?i heard about sodering and drilling, which i probably couldnt do.

1. the same place where the stock battery holder is soldered.
2. its a quick kit, kinda hard to screw up 2 battery holders and some wire. just to make sure you know it does not include the cells.
3. solder the lead plug onto the motherboard and drill holes into the chassis where you can run zip ties to hold the batteries down.

Check out the FAQ on Li-Ions at AtomicMods.com...
It should answer all of your questions regarding this.

Here is a picture of one my Li-Ion chassis'. You can see the Deans connectors on here...I also upgraded the wire coming from the board, but you don't have to.

im trying to get lithium but dont want to solder, which is why i need ways to install a prokit w/o soldering. if thats not posiible or wont work too welll then ill go with a qucik kit. 1 thing is the qucik kit on atomic mods has no plug, u jjust twist it with the factory wires, but i found a cheaper qucik kit at team mnm, but it has a plug. what do i do? this is the quick kit: http://www.teammnm.net/liionquickinstallkitup.htm

I guess you could cut the Deans connector off and twist the wires together... that would work. Do you know anyone who could help you solder it? That would be so much better...
