Cool More bit body questions 8D

Hi everyone, I have another bit body question. Hopefully this will be my last on on this subject.

Well, Ive been searching around forums on how to make body kits and such. The general question got answered (ie. use putty, or styrene) but the real question is HOW.

I have never used putty before so Im not sure if im saying all these things right. Well, with the putty, you put it on the front and wait for it to harden? Then you carve out the front bumper? Or do you mold it and when it hardens you have your front bumper. If anyone has "How to use modeling putty" tutorials of some sort, I wouldn't mind reading them.

Then theres that styrene thing that I have never heard of before. But ive seen images of sheets. So you cut out little pieces of the front bumper then you glue them together to form the whole piece? With this, if anyone has "How to" tutorials, I wouldn't mind reading them also.

Furthermore, what do you use for the headlights and windows. I might need to know if i mod up the lights and such 8). You never know when 4 head lights will look cool.

Thanks for reading my ranting Ill wake up bright and early tomorrow to see if someone answered. So i can finally buy all the equipment i need to mod stuff up :O

i think what he was getting at with the styrene is to use it as a mold for the putty.

carve or press the styrene then put the putty in the mold and press it on the car to form it to the body, let it dry, peel the styrene off and super-glue the putty-bumper on.... (paint)

i think thats how you do it, cause i never have, it just makes sense in my head.
