Free steering enhancement!!
**This was taken from "crusader" from XModWorld, the original post can be found here http://www.xmodworld.com/modules.php...wtopic&t=6670, all credit goes to either crusader, ikinari, or gnubee**
Just take hold of the ends of the tierod with a pair of pliers and bend them FORWARDS, make sure you are doing it forward and not backwards, im thinking that if you do it backwards it will actually make your steering worse by pulling the rod farther from the center of rotation. Don't worry about breaking the tierod, i did this on two tierods and neither of them came close to breaking. I did this mod to my new 350z and was impressed, my steering was much better without tight turns or anything installed. I'm not taking credit or anything, just thought I would bring it to the attention of the people over here at tinyrc. Here is a pic of what to do.

wow
I might just have to do this, although i think i will be getting an aluminum tierod soon, also i wonder if you can turn it less than 45 degrees to still maintain some top end control

Glad you like it! lol. If you want to go back to normal steering, without switching tierods, then just play with your steering trim. The steering trim actually has a use for me now! lol

Did you mean the steering range? The trim only adjusts the centering.

Yeah, well this mod makes my car hang with the mini-z's in most performance aspects. It now has more top end speed than a stock mini-z, lots more torque, similar steering cababilities, and drifts like no other.
