5th cell heating up while switch is off

why would my 5th cell be heating up while the switch is off. i have tried the proper way (black to the bottom right, red to the bottom left if you are looking at the back) and after about 30 seconds it gets hot and after about a minute its very hot. ive tried flipping the wires around etc with no luck same result. any ideas?

did you clip any wires because you are supposed so your probably shorting something
