I think that if you look around, you'll find that the dual cell charger topic has come up a lot. The general agreement seems to be: Charge with one more cell than you're running in the car.
Stock 1 cell car - Charge with 2
2 cell car - charge with 3
3 cell car - charge with 4
4 cell car - you better already know what you're doing
Some of the Oval bullet clones come with 3 battery chargers, and already probably have the timing circuits.
