pcb question
im ordering a new pcb for my fried xmod. does it come with the servo? or am i gonna have to solder it on?

The servo is not included. You need to remove it and solder it to the new one. There are 4 wires on a ribbon cable. MAKE SURE to fully remove all of the glue on the wires before soldering onto the new ESC.

i ordered part number 12414207...the pcb assy.
will i also have to solder on the battery holders 2?

Yes. It ONLY includes the Main PCB with the Receiver PCB attached and wires for motor and battery.

the wires that go to the battery holders comes with the motor plug and everything. when i get home ill see if i can find the pics i took of one of my 6 that ive ordered. there are 5 wires that need to be removed from the old PCB to get the servo. 2 that go to the top fets, and 3 on a ribbon wire. i would reccomend saving the old PCB for spare parts.
what happend to the old one?

the L1, L2 inductors fried....the D1 diode melted, the fets on the esc are melted. all from the dang antenna touching the heatsink

o...and more bad news. i call RS unlimited to track my order and they say that the pcb is on backorder and wont be in the warehouse till june 1st!!!
now i must wait yet another month

go to RS and give them the part number and ask them to check and see if its on backorder. in Dec. RSU said that they were on backorder until March 10 and i checked back in the beginning of Jan. and i ordered 2. you might want to ask them to call you when they are off backorder.
