Me, my motor, and I....
Okay okay, I know that I should have this figured out by now, almost five months after getting my car, I still can't figure out what a properly installed motor should look like! The only way I can get my motor to even touch the gear directly below it is to screw it really tight in front and a litle loose in back, so it's slanted foreward just enough for the pinion to touch the gear. Is this right? My Civic has been beaten by a stock Civic that was running on the same juice (xmod rechargeables). I have a Road Race Stage 2 motor installed. I have no idea what I did wrong. I would greatly appreciate it if someone would post a pic of a properly installed motor, or at least give me tips on how to fix my poor car. Thanks in advance!

the stock car with stock motor can beat a stage 2 in a short race but a stage to can beat any car in a longer race

not necesarily. a car with a stg2 drift motor vs a stg 2 drag motor the drag motor would win unless they werent both stock.
answer to the question. take apart the rear end, and grind down the two posts that hold the rear holder up. the big yellow one. not the flat one. that should bring the rear of the motor down.

Mostly it depends on what your running and how you run it. it's the same as with real cars. the more performance mods done, the better/faster
