Exclamation drifting on tile

i have a couple mini rc cars and i can get the back to slide out on all of them except this xmod...the back tires seem to just grip too much on the tile and when i try to drift the back just bouces up and down as it tries to slide. Tape is too slippery and these tires are too grippy....the only thing i can think of is maybe getting the foam tire upgrade....however im not sure how smooth the foam is and will it slide on tile? Please share any ideas on how i can get my xmod to drift on tile. thnx in advance.

do you have the tire upgrade, because i couldnt gather that from your post. my friend has tile and i can get the back to slide out no problem with my hard treads.

what are you usin to wet the tile. i use lysol (i'm usually on the toilet when i drift). just make sure the body is off when you use lysol other wise it will splash all over the inside. almost broke mine like that.

tile is too grippy and not good for losing traction. even if you do get the back end to slide out ur rear wheels can stick to the transitions and send the car pointing in the other direction or ur car will just flip over lol

well i went ahead and gave it a try. I bought the Foam tire upgrade and all i can say is wow. It worked just as i thought it would. It provided much more grip then tape and some less then the normal tires. Drifiting is easy and my car no longer bouces along on turns, it never flips either. I guess my tiles are a special case scenario but the foam tires really solved my problem.

Just thought i would share,
