Wow, that sucks! I guess you can consider yourself lucky if you still have vision in that eye...

Man, I'll have to have eye surgery from looking at the mug shot. Just kidding, sorry to hear about your injury. I for one should take note, becuase I never where eye protection, but after seeing this, I just might start.

Wink Not Mr. BigShot anymore, eh?

Ouch, that must have hurt really badly! I'm so sorry that happened to you... Well, look on the bright side, you learned a lesson and will take better care of yourself next time.

Quoting a teacher from my middle school, "You're a fool if you did something bad, but you're an even bigger fool if you did it again."

Just be really careful next time, and when you're wearing a safety mask, you'll be grateful that you are O.K.

When I wore glasses, I'd chip the lenses up to the point that they were all but useless for vision correction after a few weeks. I shouldn't even be allowed around Dremels.

They drilled your eye?

Holly Molly!

Wow, that sounds and looks like it sucked bad my friend! I will make sure to be using eye protection when ever the old Dremel comes out to play. Hope everything is better when the patch comes off.

I feel for you bro, that almost happend to me too , I stripped a wire without knowing a small peice of the wire was on my finger wile i was rubbing my eye, good thing I manage to take it out without scratching my eye.

Also a good warning is to be very carfule while soldering, I burned my index finger while I was soldering the antenna wire to the XMOD metal antenna part

my dad had something similar happen heres the story,
we have one of those lifts for cars in our shop and he was working on his jeep which has a major rust problem(if you hit the side of the tub a bunch of rust falls on the floor) and he was working underneath fabbing up a new drive shaft and a piece of rust fell in behind his glasses and right into his eye the doc had to dig around in his eye for 10 min to get it all out and he had one of them patches like yours on his eye for a few days.

u wanna talk about burns? see my posts in the xmods forum about the eclip mod? well, when i was doing it last night, the a bit of the solder fell off the iron and ontothe front plastic piece. usually it cools fast, but it didn't. can u say profanity until my dad cameoutside? i almost lost like a cm of skin. i have this little slip over it cause we had to cut the skin out around it. o btw, both my parents r surgeons, so they knew what they were doing.
