My Motor Story
Alright so...here I am with my Xmod, I put everything I could get my hands on, and then I tried to put a 9V batt. in it and I kinda fried my main board...so..now..the car will run fine but it wont go more than 5 feet away from the remote ( I'm thinking of buying another one so, this is just my "whatever " car). My little bro got the 1/18th scale Team Losi Mini-T, and wel...that thing is pretty fast for it's size, and it uses one of theose nice thivck motors, anyhow, he got all crazy with it and ran up this ramp and landed in a nice area of water, so...everything was alright..except the motor..so the a friend of mines came in and fave him a electric shaver motor, which it's rreeaallyyy poweful too, and I put it in for him..which I really didn't wanted to cause I knew that motor was gonna rip, since the mini-t is a buggy..which neads like a powerful motor that can stand all that torke, so..I told him to give it to me, and I'll put it on my Xmod...but nnooooo, so...I put it in hic buggy, it ran with more acc. but not much top speed..and then...like not even 5 min. of run time...poof!..the motor stoped..I opened it and he fried the top part....I dunno what it's called..anyways..he then gave it to me..and I tried fitting it in my Xmod and well yeah..I can make it fit...with it's original top, since it's shorter...I tried putting a Xmod motor top in it..and it fir but then I wont have any room to put it so...grrr...I'll just have to wait to put fix that top....anyways...I think it would have made a hell of an Xmod..wel..here's some pics, and just let me know what you guys think
