i bought one of the firs ZZ to come out it was the civic and then one of my friends bought the same thing about 2 months later and with the same motor and body setup and gears his is like 10 times faster so i thought maybe batteries in controller are bad so put in brand new batts and no change we even swapped motors same effect any help would be appreciated

you have a 1st generation ZZ. your friend has a 2nd or 3rd gen. ZZ. you either need to get a new ZZ, or get that one mosfetted. that's all you can do besides duall cell mod. 1st gen ZZ are super slow. i mosfetted mine. big difference.
