making xmods drift like this

check out this vid. looks like they used pvc pipe on the tires. ( the movie is in japanese so i dont understand it) here u go http://home.comcast.net/~raymondbarlahan/op117.wmv
and if anyone can find pvc pipe to go over xmod tires...let me know wut size it is

have you tried taking the tires off and running on the rims??? hehe... make sure you are on your kitchen or hardwood floor... otherwise concrete would rip em to hell

i think u need more weight xmods are to light to stick like that
in the front but sliding in the back is doable

that's not drifting that's cheating, you gotta use street tires then you are the drift king, like me.

i'm goona go buy a 1/10th car soon so i'm a do this, i think it's gonna be fun.

Maikeru, u should try drifting the disabled wheel chairs at walmart!! i was going through between aisle like whoa! the aftermath wasn't pretty..... the wheels were ehh and uhhh little advice, when trying to give an excuse to the security, "I was trying to find my disabled mom so i can give it to her" speech won't work...

Those are 1:10th scale HPI's. I think the models are the RS2 or RS3 not sure though. The electrics are PRO3's most likely almost fully hop up. I think the nitro is a RS4 3 Type SS or RTR if its from HPI also.

it cost them $402.35 for each of those cars, but you don't have to have a fully hopped up one to be able to drift it.

that's 1/10 scale and looks similar to the yokomo drift cars that are coming out. It's really just special tires that make it easier to drift. Try looking up "yokomo drift cars" and you can probably see the video. when I get home maybe I'll link the vid.
