Exclamation "Diablo" PaintJob

Check it out! I just painted my Corvette C5-R. Its a little big but its ok for me. I kinda messed up on the sides tho, and i need a way to mount the body. If you have suggestions on a way to mount the body, please post it here.(BTW: the rear is not purple, its bright red, but for sum reason my cam couldn't capture it.)
The Body:

On the Chassis:

Side, You can see how the body is not a perfect fit:

Paint job is sweet.

I would definately find a way to stretch the chasis. Make some mounts that can be attached on the front chasis to main chasis and allow them to be seperated further. You'll have to make a longer driveshaft as well, but if you contact Sluggbug, he may be able help you with that via a custom CF shaft.

I'm doing an eXMod as well. I'm planning on using the stock rear mount/clip on my model body as well as use the stock front tab to attach to the body. Details still haven't been figured on, but there will be pics when completed.

The paint job is nice, but you should have used the Mini-Z body. That model body is not even close to fitting. Time to build a chassis extension plate and a longer driveshaft, and then try to make some wheels with the proper offset.

He could probably flip the wheel inside out to fill the fenderwells and have a meaner looking deepdish look

Atleast, thats the easiest way to cater to the empty fenders.

I didn't know they had a mini-z body, but i wouldn't have any money to buy it right now anyways. Ill try to see if i can stretch the chassis in some way, and i can use the wheels and tires that came with the model, but it has alot of space for a 6 cell mod! It also has lots of vents for cooling.

i used the same fading technique as BC, but on the side when i "messed up" i used a paper towel to fade it down, so it looks like a cloud on one side and red rain on the other.
