6 cell in skyline
Can it fit? has anyone done it? what did you do to do it? If ya can, please suply pics. I really want it to fit. I dun wanna waste my money. ;.;

it fits, i just don't have any pics cause my friend did it, but i can assure you that it will fit jsut fine.

I had the same problem....No matter how I did it, the back stopped at a certain angle, when I pushed it down, it wouldn't work....weird....

It will fit. All that has to be done to the body is remove the light kit mounts in the roof. Then mount your batteries to the top of the chassis with just the plastic motor holder, no heatsink. It will be ok to run one charge at a time.

Bad Company, I think it would be best to leave the heat sink on. Why? Well, without the heatsink protecting the motor from overheating, it will have a higher chance of burning out, just with 4 cells. With 6???? You're crazy BC!!!!  -j/k

I've been running the same motor for 2 months now like that. Like I said, unless you plan on running the car through consecutive charges without letting it cool off, you SHOULD be ok without the heatsink. Again, from my own personal experience.

I think BC may be referring to with a Stage 1, with my Stage 2 Yellow and 6 IC3s, the heatsink gets MIGHTY hot!!

I have never used a stage 1 with 6 cells, always stage 2. I don't know about the IC3's though, because I have always used the RS batteries in my 6 cell car, the IC3's are reserved for my Z's.
