Issues with battery modding..
Okay, when I try to hook up a battery mod (not the dual 2.4v but a 6v setup), the motor will only spin in reverse; when I hit forward nothing happens. When I put the stock battery back in it works both ways. I also tried it with a 3v setup, same thing. Tried this on 4 different chassis, 1 bit and 3 generics. Any ideas?

Have you tried removing the axle and step-down gear to see if the motor spins without the added weight?

Yeah, that was with just the motor in (no gear no axle, just pinion so I can watch it spin. I solved the problem though. I tried 3 different batteries, and the 3rd one worked. The first two were giving out weird oscillating pulses that the third didn't. I dunno. Weirdness.
