Question I'm new... A few questions...

Hi!

I'm planing on getting a X-MOD soon and I had a few questions:

I was looking at them in the store and I kinda like the RSX... But, it looks like it's really small.... Thus meaning less room under the body for 5/6 cell mods... Which I was planing on doing.... But that's just how it looks to me.... Is there still room under there?

Also.. Does the fact that the RSX is shorter mean that is has a better turning radius then the others?

And also... Is it possible to put a body from a Model kit on an Xmod? ... Especially on the RSX? Because the RSX seems so short I think it would be hard to find a model body the right size...

Which cars do you guys think I should get... And for what reasen?

I'd recommend a skyline. It's longer, and there IS room for 6 cells, if you are putting on the plastice motor mount, which you will be using with the NML Stage 11 motor.

Here's what I'd suggest: Do a 6 cell conversion and use the 15 minute IC-3 batteries. Then get an NML Stage 11 motor from here: http://xmodworld.com/modules.php?nam...uct&product=10 also notice how they are selling the extra battery holders. Perfect for a 6 cell mod.

Chuckster...

The size of the RSX will limit you to 130 sized motors. Many Xmodders have been moving to 180 sized motors, but they simply don't fit in the RSX.

Purely anecdotal, my friend's RSX does seem to turn tighter than my Supra.

Yeah... But, there arent any Skylines in any of the RS's around me.... So It's either: The Surpa, The RSX or The Civic.

Oh,
And on the 5/6 cell mod.... I was thinking N size battories...

If you get Li-Ion cells, you really won't have to worry too much about a 6th or even 5th cell. I get 7.5v out of two AA Li-Ion cells.

You really don't want to mix different battery sizes and types. It's dubious at best and dangerous at worst.

They'll drain at different rates which can cause damage to the cells.

The cells... okay... As long as it doesnt fry my XMOD in anyway....

Xmodsman...Have you ever had any problems with the N cells in yours? How many N's do you have? And are they the rechargeble ones or the normal ones?
