Nuerokinetic-Timing advance=less torque?

I have a stage 2 drag I broke in last night and of the three stage 2 drags I have seen this one has the best acceleration. If I advance the timing will I give up some torque? I have advanced the timing on an other stage 2 drag and It works great.

The course I will use this motor for on has a lot of tight turns (long road course on the xmod custom rc site) and I need good acceleration top speed is less important.

You might lose a little torque, but overall, the performance of the motor will be better.
